The Bavarian Giants' victory over Juventus on Tuesday night came at a cost as Kroos is expected to miss the rest of the season.
The German International obtained a serious injury during the first half of the clash and was quickly replaced by Arjen Robben. Later, Bayern's Cheif Medical Officer diagnosed Kroos with several ruptured adductor muscles in the right hip. The German international will now face six to eight weeks of recovery.
Bayern, however, still managed to obtain a superb win over the Italian Giants. The Bavarians scored two goals and kept a clean sheet. The 2012 CL finalists and four-time European champions now look favorites to qualify for the semifinals.
